Contact Details:
I am a newly registered childminder with a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development. Although I am just starting out professionally, I bring valuable hands-on experience from volunteering at my local church’s parent & toddler group, where I helped to create a safe, fun and welcoming environment for little ones and their families.
I am also an active volunteer with the Dundonald Sea Cadet Unit, where I support young people in developing confidence, skills, and teamwork.
As a mum to two boys (aged 15 and 11), I have many years of real-life experience caring for children, understanding their different stages, and supporting their individual needs. I provide a warm, nurturing home-from-home setting where children feel secure, happy, and encouraged to explore and learn.

Daily Activities
I offer a nurturing, play-rich environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. Weather dependent, there will be a balance of indoor and outdoor experiences, ensuring little ones stay engaged, active, and happy.
We enjoy a variety of age-appropriate outings, including local toddler groups, fun-filled park visits, gentle adventures to the duck pond, and seasonal forest walks, perfect for nature spotting and a bit of puddle jumping on rainy days. We also make the most of beautiful National Trust properties, where children can run freely, discover wildlife, and explore natural play areas.
At home, children have access to an enclosed front garden equipped with toys for active, imaginative, and sensory play. Indoors, I offer a wide selection of age-appropriate resources, including puzzles, Barbies, Lego, cars, trains, magnetic toys, dress-up clothing, and a wonderful imaginative play shop. We regularly enjoy baking activities, giving children the chance to stir, pour, sprinkle, and taste as they learn new skills.
Creativity is at the heart of my setting. With an abundance of crafting materials available, we often dive into art projects, such as painting, sticking, building, and exploring textures. Encouraging self-expression and fine motor development.
Every day is designed to be enriching, safe, and joyful, allowing children to build confidence, develop friendships, and discover the world around them.
