NICMA – the Childminding Association have recently published two new guides for prospective childminders. ‘Childminding as a Profession – a guide to registration’ is now available in Lithuanian and Polish to support the ever growing number of ethnic groups migrating to Northern Ireland. Considering registration as a Childminder may be a viable option for those individuals who want to work within their own community and provide childcare to support others return to work or training.
